Due to the health problems of group’s members, TXT’s comeback in August will be rescheduled to September.
On August 8, TXT’s management agency Big Hit Entertainment said, “We regret to announce that TXT will not be able to take part in ‘Lotte Duty Free Family Concert’ on August 11.”
Big Hit explained, ”Soobin was recently diagnosed with infectious conjunctivitis and received treatment. Medical has advised that due to the highly contagious nature of the condition, he must refrain from taking part in public activities and will require a sufficient period of rest. Following medical advice, Soobin is currently focusing on resting and recovering. Yeojun, who had been affected by back pains earlier this month, is quickly recovering, however, our artist health is of paramount importance, rest will be given top priority in his scheduling to ensure that he can focus on recovery.”
Therefore, TXT’s comeback will be deferred. The agency said, “In addition, the release of the new Tomorrow X Together album, originally planned for late August, will be rescheduled for late September to accommodate a period of rest and recovery for the artists as well as the upcoming Chuseok holidays.”
Besides, with the debut album “The Dream Chapter: STAR” out in March, TXT set the greatest records among rookie groups debuting earlier this year, such as topping the iTunes Top Albums chart in 44 countries and regions all over the world, staying at No.140 on Billboard 200 chart – the main Billboard chart, and No.2 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart.
Besides, the boys were also considered the most successful rookie in this year with the album sales of 186,525 copies, ranking at No.12 on the “Album chart in the first half of 2019” published by Gaon Chart in July, thereby holding the position of the trendsetting rookie.
