This year will be the second successive year group Monsta X is honored to perform at the American tour “Jingle Ball”.
Recently, the famous US radio station iHeartRadio has announced on the official SNS, ”Monsta X will be joining ‘Jingle Ball’ tour at Minneapolis on December 9 (US time below), Philadelphia on December 11, and New York on December 13”.
The ”Jingle Ball” tour is an annual year-end concert hosted by the popular US radio station iHeartRadio across the United States. Since 2000, “Jingle Ball” has become a special show thanks to the participation of top contemporary singers.
Earlier, in late 2018, Monsta X offered up various renditions when meeting with local audiences of 6 cities including New York and LA (USA) through the “Jingle Ball” tour as the first K-pop group to join this event. This year, the boys also confirmed their participation in “Jingle Ball”, thereby reaping the glorious achievement of attending the event for 2 years in a row.
In particular, on this tour, Monsta X has once again proven the group’s ever-growing global rise when stepping on a stage with world-renowned pop stars who are making a big splash in the global music scene such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Jonas Brothers, Camila Cabello, Halsey, 5 Seconds of Summer, Lizzo, Why Don’t We, Lauv.
Moreover, the group is holding the status of a stage master when featuring in a variety of events, starting with the US’ famous “Teen Choice Awards”, then “iHeartRadio Music Festival” taking place in Las Vegas and “Life Is Beautiful Festival”. The act’s English single released subsequently is also garnering rapt reactions locally, thereby arousing public interest in the boys.
Monsta X’s single “WHO DO U LOVE?” featuring world-famous hip hop artist French Montana gave them the 2nd arrival at Billboard’s Pop Songs Chart and American TOP 40 Chart as a K-pop group. The boys picked up significant accomplishments when attracting the attraction of local audiences with the stage of “WHO DO U LOVE?” on popular American TV shows, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The Ellen Degeneres Show”.
Monsta X recently released new singles including “LOVE U” emphasizing the group’s romantic vocals – and “WHO DO U LOVE?” remixed by producer – hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am. Accordingly, the group was noticed by Billboard and Forbes – two famous media outlets in the United States.
Moreover, after confirming their comeback in Korea in October – nearly 8 months of hiatus, Monsta X raised the public’s expectation that alongside the new song’s performance at the ”Jingle Ball” tour, they are likely to deliver more charismatic and splendid stages in this return.
