On the occasion of the Chuseok festival – the period of time that contributes to making the autumn more special, let’s take a look at the artists who are suitable for Hanbok the most.
The Seoul Arts College (SAC for short) conducted a survey titled “The artists who suit Hanbok best” among 840 students who are majoring in acting, modeling, cinema-television, MC, choreography, etc. According to the results announced on September 6, Jungkook (BTS) and songstress-actress IU, in turn, ranked first at 2 categories of male and female artists.
Being chosen as the male star that suits Hanbok the most, Jungkook (BTS) is introducing the traditional Korean outfit to the world by happily dressing in the innovative Hanbok both at the airport and in daily life. In particular, BTS’ “golden maknae” is once again showing the group’s power when all the Hanbok costumes he wore were sold out.
As the actress who has gained affection through the role Jang Man Wol in the drama “Hotel Del Luna” (tvN), singer IU regularly wears Hanbok in such works as “Hotel Del Luna”, “Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” and broadcasting programs. Thanks to that, she notched up No.1 on the chart of female artists suiting Hanbok the most.
Second place belonged to Cha Eun Woo (Astro) and Shin Se Kyung – the duo who are playing an active role in the drama “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” (MBC). Third place went to actor Yeo Jin Goo who co-stars with IU in the drama “Hotel Del Luna” and Ryujin (Itzy).
