The 2019 Teen Choice Awards took place on August 11 (California time) and K-pop had some big wins at the ceremony!
BTS took home four awards: Choice International Artist; Choice Collaboration for “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey; Choice Summer Tour for their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tours; and ARMY won for Choice Fandom.
Girl groups were strongly represented too, with BLACKPINK winning Choice Song: Group for “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and Red Velvet winning Choice Electronic/Dance Song for their collab with Ellie Goulding and Diplo, “Close to Me (Red Velvet Remix)”.
K-pop also got the spotlight at the ceremony, with MONSTA X performing their hit song “Who Do U Love?” live on the outdoor stage.
