BTS appears in Top 10 Billboard 200 for 4 weeks

BTS has written a new page of the Kpop’s history.

According to the latest chart announced on May 14 (US time) by Billboard (US), BTS’s album “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA” has occupied No.8 position on Billboard 200. After reaching No.1 upon making the first presence on this chart (in the week to April 27), “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA” has proven its outstanding popularity when entering Top 10 for 4 weeks in a row.

Moreover, the title song “Boy With Luv feat. Halsey” was also named at No.51 on Billboard Hot 100 chart. Accordingly, the group simultaneously entered the main albums chart and main single chart of Billboard for 4 consecutive weeks.

Besides, BTS recorded a series of achievements such as No.1 on World Albums chart, No.2 on Independent Albums chart, No.4 on Top Album Sales chart, No.11 on Billboard Canadian Albums chart, No.23 on Billboard Canadian Hot 100 chart, No.24 on Pop Songs chart, No.40 on Streaming Songs chart, etc.

In addition, the group continued to lead the Social 50 chart for 96 consecutive weeks, raising the total up to 126 times. Therefore, following the previous week, BTS broke its staying-on-the-chart record for the longest time.

The album “LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’” released in August 2018 has turned the tables when landing at No.85 on Billboard 200, moving up 24 ranks compared to last week.

After the concert at Soldier Field Stadium, Chicago, the USA on May 11 and 12, BTS will continue the “LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF” tour at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey in 2 days from May 18 to 19.
